SoI 11/12/09

today we had gotten together and decided we were only going to work on the day of food rather then trying ot get another bake sale going. i feel this is a good idea because we were going to try and have a get together and all of us eating and drinking together while panning for later in the year.

Library volunteer

11/10/09
today was my first experience at the library volunteering and it was interesting to see what they had to do on a normal everyday baises. Today i had to put all of the books on the shelves where they had to go and i was tought how to check books in with the computer and how to check them out.

Mr.Hyer Chille 11/07/09

today i brought the cipolte peppers and a bottel of heinze ketchup for mr hyer's chille. i like mr.hyer's chille and was happy to help buy the supplies to mass produce it.

SOI meeting 11/05/09

today we discussed the dates on which people were going to bring fruits and sell tea next week. i volunteered to bring tangerines for Monday to help with the soi initiative.

SOI meeting 10/22/09

today we discussed whether or not we were going to have a giant food extravaganza after midterms or before thanksgiving vacation. We contributed by giving ideas on the time and classroom on where to have it. I feel this is a good idea because it will get students more interested in organic food.

Soi Bake sale 10/09/09

we had planned to sell goods today and we did. i was a part of the selling force while some of the others were in charge of getting the food.i had to meet the other sellers at break right next ot the stairs and attempt to sell tea and browines. lukily we were able sell $25.00 worth of tea and snacks. this is good because we had not sold all of our supply so we were able to make a profit and not have to restock.

we had our first meeting today and had decided on when we were going ot have our first bake sale and decided how long we had wanted meetings to be in the future.

We had our second meeting where we had read aloud a document on the positives of eating organic food and we then planned our bake sale during break this week and who was going ot do what.

10/08/09
we had met and decided that friday october 9th we were finally going to have our bake sale and we made sure that everyone knew what they were doing.

we sold hot organic tea and browines and cookies during break today and we were able to make $25.00
